Situated just 15 km's from Khumani Mine (assmang) and 38 km's from Sishen Mine Kathu (Anglo American), We are the perfect place to stay for any one who has any business with these mines. We have enough rooms and chalets to accommodate bigger groups of people as well as 6 caravan stands and a backpackers lodge.
Situated directly next to the N14 road to Upington, This makes The Ranch overight chalets the perfect choice for the traveler to Namibia, The Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, and the West Coast (Port Nolloth, McDougallsbaai and Springbok)
For all your shopping needs, you can travel to Kathu, Which is one of the fastest developing towns in South Africa, due to all the mining activities in this area (38 km's on N14 - 20 minutes drive)
We are also situated about 60 km's from Postmasburg which is also a quick developing town due the new Anglo Amercican mine (Kolamela Mine)that has opened on the outskirts of Postmasburg.
Lohatlha Military Base is about 30 km's from the Ranch Overnight Chalets, in the same direction as Postmasburg. We invite all military staff as well as anyone who has business with Lothala to come and stay in luxury and style at The Ranch Chalets.
Our establisment is also enroute from Gauteng to Springbok and the rest of the Namaqua Flower route, with two caravan stands for the camping clients.
